H.L.P. and LATAM partner to deliver 44 metric tonnes of aide to Puerto Rico!

At its core, the Humanitarian Lift Project is run by Aviation Industry entrepreneurs and business owners. In an effort to maximize impact on the island, we determined that we needed to reach out to all of our customers and vendors to see how they could help support our efforts. In arguably the largest and most impactful mission to date, the kind folks at LATAM Cargo, a Chilean Airline group with a Miami based cargo carrier, answered the call in a BIG way. H.L.P. simply paid for the fuel, arranged the cargo, and managed the distribution, and LATAM Cargo donated one of their Boeing 767 Freighters to operate a flight out of Miami. Together we filled the aircraft with 44 Metric Tonnes of generators, tarps, food, water, filtration systems, and medical supplies. On Friday October 20th, LATAM Cargo flight 1815 arrived into a rainy San Juan Airport and made the drop! Numerous tractor-trailer trucks were standing by and transported the goods to the Southern coast where 3 different relief organization distributed the supplies. IMPACT!
