Danny De Los Reyes of DayGlow Relief: On the Ground in Puerto Rico again and Making a Difference

HLP's Partner, Dayglow Relief's Danny De Los Reyes is all about making a positive impact on the communities affected most by Hurricane Maria and its aftermath. De Los Reyes spent most of last week on the ground again in Ponce and the towns along the southern coast. He spent time with volunteers and employees from Ponce Health Science University, paid visits to make-shift health centers, and instructed families on the operation of water filtration systems, provided by 3to5days.org and delivered in the HLP Citation. One of the most important elements of a successful relief project, is identifying the most critical needs and establishing an action plan to source and deliver not just quantity, but QUALITY products that will provide the people of Puerto Rico with the tools and resources they need most. We're finding that in addition to potable water, shelf stable food, and electricity, medicine and medical supplies is the priority in the less urban areas of Puerto Rico.
